Default Classic Mudflaps and 22's

Hello- am working a deal for a 90X that I want to have classic mudflaps installed on. Along with claiming an $800 install labor fee, the dealer claims that there is a rubbing issue when combined with the 22" wheel upgrade option - all terrain tires. Does anyone know if that's true? I'm normally a DIY guy, but it seems these are pretty tricky to install?

My thought is that your dealer is misinformed and the mud flaps should work fine with 22’s (as long as you select the correct tire size).
Here’s some good installation videos if you want to install yourself.

They look easy enough to install myself, for sure. Anyone else with 22's have an opinion of fitment/rubbing issues?
