yea I looked into Broncos for a bit but after scavenging 6g forums it was clear that getting a Indian owned British suv made in Slovakia will take 1/3 of the time to get California rather than an American Suv from Illinois.

 

First order was Feb and delivery was June (wrong model/features)
Placed 2nd order in June and production dates have bounced around Oct to late November. No confirmation of build yet.

 

FYI for those ordering the Clearsight mirror is apparently unavailable for order at the moment.

 

Got the same notice from my dealership. Hopefully they come back in next year or can be added on later.

 

I was told this is unlikely.

 

I just got off the phone with my dealer, Land Rover Solon. I was told that they had no Defender allocations for December but expect to have some in January, 2022 and that mine was on the top of the list for Defender orders. The Sales Consultant estimated another 90 days to delivery. We shall see. I suspect that the dealers prefer to sell more expensive Range Rovers over Defenders.

 

Like the $120,000 full size Range Rover with a $5k "market adjustment" I saw at the showroom when I was picking up my Defender last weekend?

That's a lot to pay for a model that's already been superseded

 

I was a bit shocked that a base 110 Defender (64k msrp), with a 20k market adjustment sold within less than 7 days.

 

I am being told that I could possibly get a January-February allocation slot that would get me a unit delivered in May-July. Will update as I get new info.

 

I also ordered August, build date of October, delivery November. Now I'm build 12/17, delivery 2/21/22....we'll see.
