Default D250 or P400e for towing?

Hi all,
a luxury problem here. I have TWO Defenders on order.
My dealer is pressing me which one to buy.
A D250 will be available for me in the first week of July.
A P400e might be available to me late August.
Both ordered by me, having all the trimmings I like.
But my dilemma is this: I do a lot of towing a two ton caravan in the summer.
Does anyone here have experience towing with the P400e setup in a RR or RRS?
Is the 4 pot up to the job, towing a heavy caravan when electricity has run out.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I used my 2021 RR P400e to tow a small trailer to my cabin and back--about 3 hours each way. My combined fuel efficiency was 11 mpg. without the trailer I get about 25 mpg on long road trips.

If towing is a primary concern it sure seems like the diesel would be the best option. But we don’t get either model in the States so I have no personal experience with them.
