Disappearing HUD?

Disappearing HUD?
Hi all, new owner and member here. I have a 2023 90 p300, and I am having an issue that I don’t see here when I search.
The HUD display does not appear when starting, maybe 1 out of every 10 starts. If I immediately restart, sometimes it will appear but usually not. On a later start it will usually work.
If I move my head around and the light is dim enough, I can see that the display is working, but it is so dim as to be useless. I have the brightness setting all the way up, and when this happens I checked the brightness setting and it is still at the max.
(I don’t wear polarized glasses, I did see a YouTube video about polarized glasses blocking the display).
I also have the “shifting into N at a stop” problem, and an appointment at the dealer for next week.
Anyone else have this issue with the HUD not showing up?
I did a search but did not find any discussion.

I have a 2022 P400 110. Still a lot in common. I have the HUD and love it. I have no problems and polarized sunglasses do fine with it. If you are having both the HUD disappearing and the Shift to N, then I suggest (what I don't like suggesting) - take it to the Dealer. ASAP. Sorry about that and good luck!
BTW - Yours is different enough from mine that you may have a Service Campaign. Go to this page and enter your VIN in the lower right and check. (Link) Either way, schedule a Dealer visit soon so you can enjoy it. It's likely going to be a PITA, but neither of these are possible/easy for a DIY'er. Again, Good Luck!
