Default Does anyone have any experience with aftermarket (non Thule, non OEM) cross bars?

Before dropping a bunch of coin on Thule or JLR Accessory cross bars, I noticed a bunch of these on amazon (also ebay, alibaba etc).

I know you get what you pay for, but I will rarely use them and almost exclusively for a Thule, Force XT L cargo box.

Anyone with any experience on any of these or others?

No, but the PowerfulUK Expedition rack crossbar risers work gr8 for the Yakima carrier box we bought during the REI sale madness last week….

That shouldn't be needed for cross bars though right? That's only needed if you're going to use a box on top of one of the expedition racks. Correct?
