I think this has been addressed prior. I have a 2020 HSE - and the doors constantly squeak. Have tried various sprays mentioned on here, silicone lubricant, etc. Dealer sprayed something on them too. Squeaks come back always. Any better remedies than sprays - anyone understand if LR fixed this in later model years with new seals, etc?
It's important to clean the door seals with rubbing alcohol before applying the grease. This works for me:
You can buy it on Amazon or at a Honda dealer. Same grease a Honda dealer gave me in the 80's o stop a rubber sunroof gasket from squeaking. Lasts for a couple of months then I have to clean the door seals and reapply.
Squeak when opening or squeak when driving? All the doors or some of the doors? If when opening, at what point do they squeak - all the time, at the beginning, at the end? Not trying to be a pita, but more details would help me and the other unpaid wrench turners give you some ideas. Hasn't happened to my Defender, but with more details I'll throw out my suspicions.
Mine were squeaking when driving off road or on rough paved roads. The body/doors must flex just enough to cause the rubber door gaskets to rub and squeak.
The seals I don't think have changed... same parts 2020 to present. Just clean them VERY well (I use a light all purpose cleaner followed by rubber treatment like wurth rubber care). I notice mine make noise when they're dirty... your mileage may vary.
