I have put on side steps and AT tires. Plus a couple of interior storage cubbies.

Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT in 275/55/20 XL
Vulkan Automotive black side steps (As someone mentioned above these are great for keeping crap off the side of the car and I actually use them getting in and out too)
Vulkan Automotive storage organizer for the center console. Makes it into an upper and lower shelf
Vulkan Automotive storage tray for the center console. Splits that into an upper and lower area too

I just saw you can add Range Rover armrests to the Defender. Has anyone does this?

Love those wheels on the last 2 cars. How do they perform in the snow/ice? Have new Defender V8 with the stock 22' wheels and tires. Want to take it to our home in ParkCity and keep going and back and forth if I should just get AT that work well in snow, or dedicated snow tires for it. Then I also consider getting 20' wheels and having much better tire options. Just don't want to bother with having to store and switch out. So the 22' option means I could just get some good AT that do well in snow and keep them on all year. I plan to have the car back and forth from Park City to San Diego. Still contemplating, and I know this issue has been discussed at length.

I've had my tires on for all of a day so no idea yet on snow/ice/mud/rain/anything. lol. We don't really get a ton of snow in NC, but do get occasional ice so we will see. I can say if you switched to 20" rims you would have much better options for tires. MUCH better. The standard OEM size for Defenders have basically no options at 255/60/20, but at 275/55/20, which is what I got, you have tons of options.

@therift72 how do you like that bike rack? Are you able to access the rear area at all with it installed given the swing tail gate?

The 18" wheels. Being able to mount 7 1/2" of sidewall while keeping the stock height has made a big difference in the trail ride and durability.

It’s a great rack at a great price - the ability to take it off and roll it into my basement is super handy given its weight.

The rack does fold down enough to be able to open the tailgate about 45 degrees - enough to access the back for me. The swing arm was not something I was interested in as it made the hardware too chunky - I like how clean this racks is.
