Default Front Seat Captain Chair Armrests?

Has anybody ever looked into adding aftermarket or even OEM front seat captain chair armrests? I know in MY2025 the defender 130 has it in the second row, never understood why they didn't have it in the front low row like all other Land Rover and Range Rover products. Just seems to have always been a staple for Land Rover and a very comfortable option. Appreciate any thoughts or ideas for somebody who might have looked into this, thank you.

Definitely interested in this. One of my favorite features that was left out on the L663.

Agree there's probably not an existing bracket to hold the armrest, but the armrests that I have found on ebay and other sites are coming out of China, I have talked to two or three them (via email) and they include the brackets that will hold the "Captain Chair's arrest" with video instructions, my only concern in buying those that I have found on ebay / China is they only go 90 degrees, but you needed to go about 110 or 120 so it's flush with the seat when you are using it, that's what I'm researching is to find something that's close to a stock armest, then the actual installation is not too difficult as I've seen videos of how to do it. More to follow as I continue my research. You would just think that somebody would be offering in the States or Europe as an aftermarket item as I think it would be pretty popular.

And, coming from China, I can't imagine the quality will be good, plus there's a good chance the color might not match.

I wouldn't waste money on armrests from China.

I'm surprised anyone actually likes these armrests. I always felt like they were just in the way and was much more comfortable resting my arm on the center console. I was ecstatic when I saw the Defenders did not come with them. Easily the worst feature of the LR3, LR4 and RR Sport we have had.

You are the first person in history to say that. If you don't like them, you fold them up and they are out of the way.
