Default Getting Urban Defender WX-1 22's with 285/45r22's on Saturday

Just got these wheels in from Spain, and have an appointment to install Cooper Discoverer AT3 4S 285/45r22's on Saturday. Wheels are 22x10 WX-1 Sawblades and are staggered (+24 and +35). A little worried about rubbing but will add johnson rods if needed. Does anyone have experience with 285/45r22's on stock height defenders?

your tire specs are conservative. usually it’s the offset that makes the biggest difference. i have super aggressive offsets at +10 front and back on a 10 width wheel and i had rubbing issues with a 1 inch lift. still rub at access height but no issues in normal mode

just remind myself to raise it when backing out.

No trouble with Nitto Ridge Grapplers in that size on the stock Defender 22in 5-spokes. No lift, no spacers.

I too have a set of WX-2's coming from Urban and I plan to run the 285/44/22 Cooper tires. Should be a great combo.

Not sure I understand the purpose of running 22's with AT tires. But no judgement, you do you.
