Does anyone have any insight into whether the HUD has any Apple CarPlay integration?

 

No, it does not. I actually asked specifically about this before I ordered and did not add HUD because it only shows Pivi Pro info.

Apple CarPlay itself does support HUD as well as multiple screens. So it is JLR and most other car manufacturers that are lagging behind here. However, I'm pretty sure the latest BMWs support CarPlay HUD and projection onto other screens. Of course, BMW also supports BlueTooth Carplay connectivity.
So may be an over the air update will give you this feature in the Landie one day.
