Default IID Gap Tool issue

** Issues resolved itself, just needed to let the vehicle sit overnight to reset**

Having a slight issue with my new gap id tool. I tried to disabled the start/stop option and when I did, it worked but then my brake hold function didn't work. So I back tracked and enabled the stop start and still the engine stop start didn't work or the brake hold. So I did a restore. Still the same issue. Anyone have any idea what's going on/ what to do? I only messed with that one setting.

Numerous CCF items require an ECU reboot. The easiest way to go about doing this is leaving the car be for several hours - overnight is better. I trust all is back to normal now? If you change the start stop settings again follow this advice as well. A good nights rest works wonders.

And... we put the address 'support at gap hyphen diagnostic dotcom' on the sticker directly on the IIDTool for exactly this reason. You will likely get a quicker, more accurate response directly from us...

Back to normal and with the stop/start set to memorise the setting so you don't need to do it every time you get in the vehicle?

No stop/start is still active. I haven't tried messing with it again yet, I need to do more research on the correct way to do it. I have a pretty long list of things I want to enable/disable so I'm going to plan it out and do it soon.
