Default Interesting activity key feature...

So I've been using my activity key this week driving back and fourth to work. Today I walked out to the parking lot to meet a co-worker for lunch and was walking down the sidewalk. My 22' 110 X was to my right about 100ft away as I walked passed it (co-worker was driving) I looked towards it and just then heard a faint click and the side marker lights came on. Of course I was like "what the hell", I looked at my activity key and the screen off as it usually is, touched the screen to awake which showed the home screen. I then toggled through to get to the "lock/unlock" and gave it the lock command, lights went out and mirrors folded.
I walked on befuddled.... not sure what to make of that but don't think I like it.

Oh, so it supposedly as automatic proximity unlocking? Yeah that can be good or annoying.

I've been using my activity watch daily since May and thankfully this has never happened. Knock on wood.
