Default Intersting Attitude in Namibia

I just got back from a 9,525 km trip in Namibia. Had to do it in the "never fail to disappoint Toyota gutless Hilux." Wish I had the Defender there, kind of pining, since I only have been able to drive my 90X 6 times before I left. The roads there are actually in pretty good shape in most places, the usual animal hazards cropping up here and there. So shortly after waiting for the mountain Zebra to cross I came across this. Had to stop, back up, laugh and snap a pic.

German is very common here in Namibia. Especially the tourism industry is quite German. Many people here speak Afrikaans, which is heavily influenced by German, but closer to Dutch or Flemish. With Germany's colonial influence in Namibia, I would have expected some resentment towards Kodi nox Germans, but I don't feel it at all.
