Hmmm, may have to. Although we're currently not running a front plate.

SOLVED!
so after a bunch of trial and error and looking around at others solutions, i’ve found that if you mount it on the stationary part of the roof glass, its out of line of sight, and it works when passing through tolls. No need to mess up your front end with a front bumper mount!

The fixed sunroof glass was the perfect answer. Did it, works the charm. Thanks!

Maybe that's cause of your app? I had to switch to Uproad when I started having issues, since then everything's just fine. https://www.uproad.com/toll-point/sr-125-south-bay-expressway-sr-125-s-bay-expy-toll-info-rates-cost-prices-and-how-to-pay here's their site

can you post an image of where you mounted? I’ve tried the locations posted in the manual, but think it is still having issues.

Mine works fine everywhere except on the Dulles toll road outside DC. I have to hold it outside the window for it to work. No problems anywhere else including all the toll spots from DC to NYC of which there are plenty.

Does having it mounted on the sunroof work on the non-express lanes where you still have to wait for the gate to open. Those cameras/readers are not above the car in this case and not sure how it would pick it up with the transponder being on the sunroof.

Can someone post a picture of

- the “cut out” areas where the ez-pass can be mounted not to be affected by the laminate?

- the location of where on the sunroof can the ez-pass be mounted?

Thanks!

In previous cars I was able to stow the transponder in the sunglasses holder, but doesn’t work in my Landy. I may try the pano roof.
