Same problem. I wonder if a new battery would help

same here. new 110x. seems like the fob range is really poor. i always keep my vehicle key in my left pants pocket. no real issue with any past or current car of ours except the 110. i typically open the door with my right hand which means my left side is usually facing away from the car. it seems a little more reliable if i move my left side (meaning where the key is located) closer to the door. i may need to change my habit and swap my wallet and key pocket. that won't be easy to change after 2 decades of doing it my standard way.

Default key

this is pretty simple and dated technology.
we have had several range rovers in the household and never this issue. actually never this issue with any of my cars

taking it in. what’s the point of keyless go if i need to pull my key out of my pocket
