He now makes "guest appearances" as an instructor at Asheville when needed, but is available at his two off-road training sites in east Tennessee and Virginia. No affiliation other than to say I wholeheartedly endorse his abilities, and he's a helluva nice guy. Asks lots of questions, follows through, lets you proceed at the pace you want, and knows a whole lot about the Defender's systems. In fact, I was asking about the various different modes and what settings they employ for traction control, etc. in case I wanted to duplicate, say Mud & Ruts but wanted to dial up throttle response a notch or two. The day after our class he sent me this, which I hadn't been able to find anywhere:

Anyway, if anyone's interested: Classic 4x4
I am so appreciative to have this chart. I have it in the vehicle, and I contemplate at times what I would change as a manual Terrain Response 2 profile.

To date, I am waiting for Spring to come to have a lot more wading opportunities, so I may test build a custom profile based on what is on the bottom. I SUSPECT the wade program was built for packed Sandy bottoms (?) --- which we do not have in the mountains.

I have a copy in my glove box, albeit with more understandable category names written to list the LO MED HI levels of computerized aggression:

Auto Aggression Levels of:
Accelerator response
Differential clutch engagement
Individual wheel braking
