Which Looks Better?

Before I saw a 90 in the flesh I’d have answered 90. With the previous Defender I definitely like the 110 just fine but like the 90 better. With the Wrangler I like the 2-door better (and owned a 2-door till last year.)
But in the flesh something about the dimensions of the 90 with the sheer size of the L663 these days seems a little cartoonish to my eye, like an Avatar picture of an off-road vehicle or something. Too much truck on too short a WB.
I think the long rear overhang of the 130 destroys the unique look of the line; the super short overhang of the 110/90, when parked by a Land Cruiser or Forerunner, for instance, is so noticeable and so slick, but the 130 gives that up.
So for me, on the 663, it’s 110 all the way.

The 90 exterior proportions are sexy. I was thinking about a new Bronco until I saw the new 90. There’s a YouTube video of the 90 V8 that made me want it more than anything in a decade, until I test drove it. If LRJ could fix the egress to the back seat with a single suicide door (like the FJ Cruiser) AND have rear seats that actually lay flat with the floor deck and not at 30 degrees with a 6” riser, it would have been my first choice. The storage area is near useless. Engineers botched both design elements, so the only logical choice for people with family or pets is the 110. The 110 is more functional and less sexy.
The 130 proportions are not right. It has a huge ***, and not in a good way. I’ve heard of no significant demand at the local dealers while I’ve been waiting a year for my 110. Curious what first year sales will be.

At first I was also attracted to the 90, as I always liked the shorter wheelbase Series and original Defenders better. But considering functionality the 110 is the choice. I now prefer the looks of the 110 (surprise!).
The classic good looks of the 110 comport well with timeless architecture:
