Loud fan noise after engine is off
Hi all, super excited to have gotten my '23 Defender 110 last week. Have been loving it so far.
However, there have been 2 occasions where I have driven it home from work where after I turn the engine off, there is an extremely loud fan noise that comes on and lasts for about 15-30 seconds. I live in Los Angeles and it's been pretty hot here lately. The commute is only 20 miles . Should I be concerned about this loud noise? Thanks all!

To reiterate, the fan is for cooling the twin turbos in the p300 so as to prolong the lifespan of the turbos
In the old days, after people drove their car hard and came to a stop, they would let the car idle for a while to let the turbo cool off a bit before shutting down the engine.
Nowadays many modern vehicles that are equipped with turbo have a separate electrical circuitry with thermostat that would turn on the fan to cool down the turbo after the engine is shut off.
