Anyone have a good idea on how to mount a Hi-Lift Jack to the Explorer Pack roof rack? Clearance is already an issue, so I'm hoping to mount it on the side of the rack (where the drawn red line is in the photo). I know the rack is Thule but haven't had much success in finding good Thule accessories for this positioning. Also, I know there are a lot of arguments for and against Hi-Lift Jacks - that I really would love to get into - but maybe for another thread :-). Any advice, ideas, suggestions, or warnings are welcome! Thanks.
Thanks for the link! I think that will be a solid back up option if I'm unable to find a mounting solution that doesn't sacrifice more roof clearance. Hard to tell from the photos but it looks like the hardware will add another 3+ inches on top of the rack.
