Default New Defender 110 S P300

Hey All! Wanted to drop a line in to say hello! My name's Mike and I recently picked up my P300 S from JLR on Wednesday. Hoping to have big things planned for it, but for now getting used to driving something way smaller than my F150. To go from a Land Yacht to a normal 7 passenger SUV is quite the shift. If there's any local Defender owners in the Kirkland/Eastside area, let me know!

Looking forward to learning/growing/building up the car!

Hopefully the first mod, replace Red Taillights with Clear ones.

Enjoy it !

Your first mod mentioned wouldn't be mine, Nothing wrong with the Red lights.

Start with accessible front tow hook and the 2 rear towhooks & some recovery gear IMHO

Looking forward on pictures

I'm with @Defendit.. . Rear tow hooks and front skid plate are way up there on my list. However, ymmv. There are a LOT of different ways to personalize your Defender and as a founding member of the Offroad Houligans, I tend to prioritize off-roading improvements over style. No disrespect, no negative vibes, just different paths. Only thing I want are pics! Send Defender **** (I mean pics...) as you make your mods, please....

Welcome to the forum and LR! I am with @GrouseK9 on the front and rear tow hook mods. I know @GavinC is in your area and if you plan to meet up with him you'll def need them (I look forward to meeting up with him).

I totally get it! I usually enjoy doing personalization mods as well as functional ones. One thing I want is to try and Retrofit the clear sight camera as lower tier defenders no longer have them. But I need to find someone local who can do the activations or has the software and I’ll try it :-). Did ceramic coat to it over the weekend.

Totally understand the perspective! Was looking at getting the red rear hooks from PowerfulUK and the external reverse lights. Will figure the lighting situation as I get the SP9100

Hey man!

I resemble that remark

@makristal Welcome to the forum. I'm kicking about Kirkland also. Quite a few Defenders around here now. Loads of great places to explore in our neck of the woods. Recovery loops saved my bacon.

Show us the new rig. I'm one of those annoying wavers so be warned. If I see you, the waving shall be relentless.

Edit: Sorry I see your new ride now. I think I've seen it or one very similar at our kids' school.

That's one cool looking Tesla. Not seen it. I'll keep my eyes peeled next time I'm at Sandburg.

@makristal - Good luck with the ClearView/ClearSight retro. I don't think anyone has done one yet, so if you do - post lots of pics and tricks! Here's a thread on how much of a pita it is/will be: Link. And here's an alternative that worked for me. Ymmv: Link.

Good luck with the Defender!
