Default New to group - D90 first mods feedback requested!

HI all - I'm new to the group, just purchased a Carpathian/Vintage Tan D90 SE and would love some advice on the following items:
  • Changing the silver front/rear bumper trim to gloss black - deciding between wrapping the existing or just replacing, any suppliers folks on here like? Can't believe the amount of offerings out there and price differences.
  • Clear X trim taillight swap: in short I've seen several on ebay from China in the ~$500 range per pair and in the US for ~$1,000. I get the obvious as to why the price differential, anyone have a supplier they recommend or strong feeling to avoid the lower cost items for quality? I've seen some listed as not compatible if you have the lower trim red lights, any insight is appreciated!
Still researching 22/23" options on the wheels (leaning towards Khan) and doing some sort of matte black or clear wrap but holding off on those for now!

I realize these may have been covered before and I'm late to the Defender party but happy to be here and looking forward to being active in this group/forum in general!

I'm another new owner of a D90. So far, I have purchased gloss black scuff plate for rear bumper from Powerful UK (fair prices, good customer service), spare tire cover and recovery eyes from Atlantic British (same), and rubber floor mats from Rovers North (another good source for stuff). Stay away from Chinese wheels, they may be made of inferior metal and fail. Love my 90, hope you are enjoying yours.

Honestly if it were me, instead of painting or wrapping the factory silver. I'd replace them. You can buy the entire kit online. Just replace the pieces and call it a day. Any paint job thats done right is gonna cost at least as much as these. And you can either replace em' back to stock and sell these off when you're ready to trade in the vehicle. Anything you can get back from the stock parts will just help bring the net cost even lower. Example: https://www.ebay.com/itm/155979112170

As for the tail lights, I went through the same decision point. My solution was to buy a GENUINE used set. Presumably from a parted out defender that was in an accident or something.

Around $400 for the pair, and they were in perfect shape/plug and play. Still have the factory red in a box in my storage unit. Someday I sell the truck, I'll be putting the red back on and hoping to recoup most of what I paid for the clears. I did a light hand buff with some scratch/swirl remover just to make sure they were perfect and then did a light ceramic coat on top. But they were basically perfect.
