The X-Dynamics get the Robustec cloth, which I think is a different material than the fabric that used to come on the other models.

Ahh, that’s what I was thinking, must be some different fabric. Thanks.

To clean the fabric on the leather fabric seats, LR has a service Techincal Bulletin stating one must uses a wet vac, I assume a carpet cleaner to clean the fabric. Bissell makes a car version for those interested.

Check out CincyRovers on Youtube.

He explains why those seats were discontinued around 4 minutes in his latest video.

6 weeks in and one cross country tour and, like so many little details, the missing green fabric no longer matters and the leather is fine.

Picked up my 22 Defender 90 X-Dynamic S this past Friday (Sept. 10, 2021). I was expecting to get switched over to all leather too, but I did not. I have a different material around the outer edge of the seats but it's not like the old cloth was. Assuming this is the Robustec? It's interesting, it's almost like a cloth strip with leather scales. We'll see if it stays clean.

I confirmed with my sales rep a few weeks ago that even though the build sheet still shows textile/leather combo they are only building the full leather due to the staining issues.

I really hope my SE arrives with only leather. (Well, I suppose some Aluminium and steel would be nice too, but as far as seats go, leather is the ticket)

I got textile/leather on one that was delivered last week, so there's still some versions getting the combo.
