Yes, I have heard it , usually mostly in parking lots or drive through windows, latte stands, banks etc. And I don't see anything around, I just ignore it.

My old RRS does this, my new Defender is continuing the tradition - The ghost of Lucas Electronics lives on

My Defender does this too. In fairness my MB E63S also does it from time to time. Easy to ignore.

Mine seems to have the opposite problem: The automatic parking sensor doesn't activate the camera screen until I'm about 6" from an object even though the option to enable automatic parking sensor mode when maneuvering at low speed is set. Maybe I'll go clean the sensors as soon as it stops raining...

We have had 2 Land Rovers - a Range Rover and a RR Sport that have displayed all the symptoms listed. In both cases, it was resolved with a new battery. However, they were both 4-5 year old batteries. But the weird sensor activity was going on for at least 6 months before battery replacement. Maybe have the battery checked?

On a side note, this is why every month I connect all of my vehicles to a quality CTEK charger for at least a day or two. More often if they are only driven a few miles a day.

anyone else experiencing this? extremely annoying to pull away from a stoplight with the radio volume up only to be deafened by the shrill piercing noise of a solid shriek from the front sensor saving me from nothing at all.
Mine does this occasionally (rarely) when pulling away from a traffic light with lots of traffic around me, but it would also happen occasionally with my previous Ford vehicle, so I really haven't thought much of it.
