Roof top lighting – Give me inspiration!
Hey guys!
I just bought my new Defender X-Dynamic 110. I'm looking for different options of roof lights and I really would love to get your own setups or similar (and please provide me where to buy them). I've also been looking into what seems to be the popular Ebay Roof Pod solution (as seen in the Urban modifications). Anyone has any feedback on these?
Thank you for helping me out and giving me some inspiration!

Rooftop lighting requires careful consideration. The ones in your photo look to me like they'd light up the hood and throw back too much light at the driver to be useful. Rooftop lighting is the real reason why the "traditional" off road vehicles like the Camel Trophy Discoveries have hood blackouts.
The reality is that LED lights have gotten so bright that the best solution is to mount two lights in front of the grill, and that's all most people would need.

I'm guessing that 99% of folks who fit urban roof rod lights are working of a very well thought out list of considerations.
Escalade-like 22" rims to remove any and all off road capabilities check
Spoiler for that Fiat Uno vibe check
Sidesteps to reduce sill clearance and assist entering a vehicle with access height check
Raised air intake for the daily Kalihari commute check
Pod lights for those poorly lit urban roads check
I think they'll fit the bill perfectly
