Default Shifting to Park Shuts Off Engine

Hey Guys, have a '22 D90 S, and today was the third time (Twice in 2 Days), that when I came to a stop and pressed the 'P' button on the Shifter, the engine turned off; without me pressing the Engine Start/Stop at all. Happened yesterday while I parked to get gas, today while stopped to get the mail, and one other time where I can't remember when or where. I did about a month ago do that fix for that Key Fobs not working and Handle's not picking up Proximity / Engine has to start using Bypass under Steering Wheel TSB. That's about it, O.S. is the most up to date via OTA, 3.0 or above, and currently 14,416 miles on it. No indication on Instrument Cluster or Infotainment Screen. Saw one thread here from 2013-2018 but no answer; and was in regards to an '06 RR. Any logic in the manual I'm missing? No real major issues in my vehicle either, but yeah thought I'd ask you guys before my dealer. Most Recent Photos and Vehicle info in my Signature below. Thanks!

Acting as intended, you have to press the Auto start stop button on the dash for the car to remain running. It happens to me all the time when the family is in the car and I have to make a quick stop.

I should mention, I don't believe this is Auto/Start Stop (as I keep it off, unless I forgot to, which is a possibility), but the whole vehicle shuts off not just the engine. Is that a thing, when going to 'P' it just shuts off, acting as a more intense auto/start stop? I do see a thread mentioning sort of that but also it's mentioning stalls and being in 'D', which I'm not in, on a '22 D110 P400.

That is what I mean, you come home or a location and you press P. The engine stops, and things begin to shut down with only the radio working. As soon as you open the door, the car completely shuts down. If you press the Auto start/stop before you press p, the engine will still run.

But I never opened the door. Car already shut down and instrument cluster went to the shut off screen. Again Auto Start/Stop was already disabled.

These trucks were designed by the smartest people in the world and assembled by the most technologically advanced robots on the planet. Nothing to worry about. It will fix itself.

my p300 has also done this twice. sitting in P with auto start/stop switched off, doors closed. engine was idling for maybe 1-2 minutes.

Mine does this when I disengage the seatbelt, stays running if I just hit Park and wait in the car for someone with seatbelt engaged. FWIW — exact same behavior in wife’s Volvo. Seems pretty common these days.

I have a feeling it’s the seat belt. I’ll test it out today. Thanks guys for the responses, gonna go to the auto show now.
