Anyone have a guess why LR called out only 30 & 70 with special red tabs?

(I have no idea.)

I did a little digging and it sound like it might be a UK thing that highlights common national speed limits.

wow nice job. I’m sure that’s it though would have guessed the UK is KPH not MPH. So even more weird…

UK is MPH...just like us! They taught us the whacky imperial system and still use it on the road. :-)
