Traffic queue assist
Has anyone noticed that queue assist no longer needs a pedal tap or resume push when in traffic? Not sure when this update occurred, but for me was after picking up my car.
Havent been in traffic since the end of the pandemic. I will have to find some to try it out. I do have to say my son who is almost 4 says sits a stop light behind cars and says "ugg traffic" The poor kid has no clue.
Wow, I've never trusted it to go to a complete stop. Sometimes, I'm just such a rube! I'm going to try it going home tonight. My leg will be hovering two inches away from the brake the entire time. I guess I won't have to do leg lifts or other leg workouts tonight. Not that I have done them in a few years, but if I needed to start - I won't have to...
I like the implementation of queue assist in the Defender alot... ie hitting the Resume button instead of the gas pedal tap (ie in my old L494 RRS, I had to use a pedal tap to get moving again)
To answer the OP's question though, I do still have to hit the button. Tried it this morning actually. I would love it to just move on by itself! (ie Tesla). Maybe it is an updated feature though, and if so I would love it!

@nashvegas - I've already established myself as a raging newbie on this. So bear with me if I ask some basics here. Appreciate the insights. So, what you are saying is if I have Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) on and it goes to a complete stop; then the traffic starts again; you just hit the "Resume" button on the steering wheel and off you go? Definitely trying it tonight. I'll post impressive pics if I have to file anything with insurance.
