I have the towing package as well in my 2020. Is it different from the hideaway tow hitch ball? I didn't think I have the hideaway tow hitch ball.

The hideaway tow hitch is not a US spec. It's for European customers. Not sure about other markets.

I'm in the process of ordering a 90 and am being told that the hitch is a dealer installed item and that the price is going to be considerably more than the $675 listed when I configured it. This makes no sense to me. Anyone else getting a similar response?

Just got a call back from the dealership and they misspoke. It's the advanced tow package that is now a dealer installed option, if it's just the hitch then it's still factory installed. Crisis and an additional $2k averted.

I wouldn't recommend towing anything with this car. Mine has been having transmission issues and it has less than 4000 miles. I got the towing hitch for free after my car spend over 3 months at the dealership. Last time mine broke down it was undrivable, wouldn't go into any gear and it was making grinding noises.

Holy CRAP....$3K for a trailer hitch install, so glad mine came with one. And to think I was considering ordering at one point months back and not selecting the trailer hitch thinking if I did need it later it would only be $700-800 bucks...😬

That can't be right as it's all software and a tow hitch. I think you're being misled, intentionally or otherwise.
How's the dealer doing an install of the software and the various buttons and options in the user interface?

Advance off-road package, tow assist and hitch are all factory items. This is the tow pack. None of the non-accessory packs are dealer installed. All factory install.

I have my appointment in November to install mine. My cost was $1,967.00 out the door. Do you have a part list so i can cross my item numbers with your to make sure i have the same set up? Much appreciated

Hey all, Figured I would give an update.

So that price was right for the hitch receiver, wiring, and bumper cover. $1,967 out the door. Here are some pics. They did a software update too witch was needed for the towing app to be added and also a bonus…. Wireless apple CarPlay came with that software update!!! I added some factory tow hooks too outside of this cost. I do need to get the rings to fill in around the tow hook openings.
