This is UNREAL!!! Rain is activating my emergency braking

How charming. Let me explain exactly how this is going to go:
"The system works as designed.
-- Land Rover Dealership"
You *can* in another instance turn off emergency braking in vehicle settings in pivi pro but I would put this on your list for the next dealer visit. Something is amiss. I live in rainy PNW and never has the rain stopped my backup.

I also live in the PNW and drive in very heavy rain frequently. Never had anything like this happen. I would turn the setting off and get it to a dealer while it's acting up so you can show them. They might not be able to take you in right then, but showing them what it's doing well be extremely helpful in diagnosing the problem.

Yeah this is very embarrassing actually, for a vehicle that according to the vehicle system can drive in 2'-11" of water but can't back out of a parking spot in the rain....I'd say something is absolutely amiss. I have a great relationship with my dealership. It's going to them tomorrow provided we can get it there. I have a 24 second video of the issue but I believe it is too large to attach here..? Right?

Maybe you could try deactivating the reverse brake assist and stick some tape over the cameras. As a stopgap. Sounds like some bizarre software glitch rather than hardware but WTH do I know.
You could upload the video to YouTube/Imgur/Insta etc and post the link here. Would be interesting to see.
