Yes... Used the GAP tool

Idle is deeper and a little more pronounced. (definitely neighbor friendly)
Driving in the neighborhood and moderate acceleration has a deep thump (not really loud) as the V8 fires each cylinder.
A louder deep exhaust tone is noticeable when hard-accelerating and letting the transmission shift automatically.
Pops and Crackles when manually shifting from 1st to 2d in Sport Mode at high RPMs. 2nd to 3rd to 4th will pop.

It is definitely not the same results as installing a new high-performance exhaust system, but it is a nice improvement. I'm happy with the results.

Cool, thanks. I’ll give it go too with my Gap tool. Thanks for posting your experience.

The SV version has a "soft" exhaust bottom that appears on the performance screen. I'm wondering if this same bottom would appear on the dynamic screen if both are activated using the GAP tool. I tried to activate the dynamic screen on my V8 Carpathian but it didn't change anything on my screen so I backed it out.

Very cool sounding mod, anyone have any sound clips/videos of how it sounds with the valves open all the time.

I achieved the same thing using this module that uses the existing ESP button as a double tap to open and close the flaps - and it remembers how you left it when you turn the car off, so on start it will be right how you left it! Have this on both my R8 and Defender and it super reliable and works as advertised....

Can you code using GAP tool for the exhaust to be open all the time irrespective of mode?

Another thought, is there a fuse for exhaust flap that could be pulled?

Not quite sure how it didn't work for you. Did you unplug the correct plugs? As I understand it, the valves are a "fail open" design, meaning if there is no power to them, they stay open.

Scrolling through the CCF, didn't see such an option. By want looking for it, either.

Probably. But chances are that fuse will also supply other systems, not just the valves.

I am not looking through the dynamic pages to see if the soft button is now appearing. Regardless... I now have full time open exhaust valve.
Thanks for the info !
Got my GAP tool all setup last night.
So far I just have the start stop crap shut off.
I am going to try this next.
Thanks for sharing the Mutican numbers and how too details that is a big help.
I am just learning how to work this GAP tool, so I need all the help I can get.
