I just received a set of Vossen HF-5 Matte Black rims 20x9.5 +25mm offset that I don't need. I canceled my Defender and will be going with the new Rivian R1S. Anyone that is interested in the rims please send me a private message. I'm in Dallas.

Side conversation here as the Rivian R1s is very intriguing. When did you put down your deposit and are they telling you when you would take delivery? I was hearing that it might not be till 2023 if you were going to lock in now?

The R1S has air suspension and on paper has nice numbers for off roading. Does Rivian have anything off roading technology like terrain response? What made you switch from the defender?

 

I put my deposit down December of 2019 and should take delivery around September of this year. The tech is pretty crazy. 0-60 in 2.9 seconds

Did you purchase 5 wheels? What do you want for them. I assume they are new in the box still?

 

5 brand new in box I’m picking up tomorrow and hope to get close to my cost back.

I did end up getting the Defender and could not be happier. Vehicle looks great with new wheels and tires. Rivian could be my wife’s car if they ever start shipping
