Winch Options for New Defender
I expect delivery of my 110 is December. I did not order the factory winch, but I am looking at aftermarket options. One I'm looking at is the New Defender Sport Wench Bar and New Defender 12,000 LB Winch , both sold by NewDefenderMods.com. I would appreciate thoughts and experiences from the community.
Thank you

Can’t comment on that combo at all, but just for a datapoint, I have a Warn Zeon 12S on a LK8 winch plate and it is very nicely hidden, and of course, you can’t say enough good things about the Zeon line. I’ve never used it to pull my Defender yet, but I used a 10S on the front of my Wrangler plenty. And I’ve pulled logs out of the way with the 12S on the front of the Defender.
At any rate, it looks the business!

Man, that does look great! I actually have the same exact Lucky8 Stealth mount but have yet to install it due to the fact that I too have the Skid Plate and the instructions say you need to make a special brace to finish the install if you have the optional skid plate. Did you do the install yourself and if so, how hard was it to make the brace?
And I had a set of the small rear calipers and let them do that at the same time. For both jobs I was afraid there would be some programming requirement to get the ECU to play nice with the new equipment and I wouldn't have any idea how to effect that. I'm a dunce when things go beyond mechanical and simple electrical work into electronics.
