The shop just finished today and took photos! Turns out it's the first Defender he's worked on. Looks amazing!

Just FYI: the description of the Gondwana Stone color in the description is the opinion of the shop, not mine, in case anyone gets offended.

I had my Yulong white wrapped in Xpel Stealth on the white and Xpel on the black - then ceramic coated.

You get this awesome matte pearl white affect that looks amazing in person. highly recommend

I had my X wrapped in Suntek film, stealth on the Gondwana Stone and clear gloss on the black. I am very happy with the results.

Total cost was around $7000.

Looks sick!

My conundrum is that I really like how my rig looks in it's current glossy black... of course, the matte looks dope too.

Good job your wrap.

If you like the gloss/original finish and want to keep it, you can wrap in XPEL clear - that's what I did.

Looks AWESOME! My X (same color scheme) scheduled to arrive in January. I did the factory satin PPF, but I'll have a local shop do the gloss black with clear PPF.
Did you do all the black? Hood, Rocker panels, roof, backs of mirrors, etc?

Yes, I did all the black trim in gloss ppf. You can slightly see a seam on the mirrors, but otherwise everything is wrapped very nicely. The film is really helping with the area behind the rear tires, as the Nitto’s I installed tend to throw dirt and gravel up on that area. The aluminum looking piece on the front bumper was not done due to all the holes in it.

The installer said the hardest part of the install was the keyhole in the driver’s door handle. I think he lost his religion a few times working on that part.

They don't wrap the door handles with the factory satin wrap option. I noticed it right away in person in the sun.
