Default Hard Rock Park Trip Report - Part 2

Spent a few hours in Hard Rock Park in Ocala, FL. Really a neat place. Lots of technical trails and obstacles. This is not the place for mall crawlers or people who are concerned with paint scratches. The last time I went with 10 ply AT tires and I split one of the open. This time I was better prepared but the trip was not without incident. I let my daughter drive and she got us stuck in a mud bog. Winched ourselves out, but we tore abs ABS wire which shut down hill descent, T/C and braking was compromised a bit. Also winching it out seems like it knocked the trucks alignment out of wack. Trip was cut short but we still had a good time for $30.

Quick video.

Torn ABS cable.

This stuff is great. I sprayed it on the undercarriage about a week ago and it made most of the mud slide off easily.

Good pre-mudding idea.

Looks like a fun time. Was mud in the rims the cause of alignment concerns?

I think it was from the winching with the wheels in the wrong direction and pulling against the mud troughs. It’s just a theory though. When I got it out of the mud, steering was very loose, constantly correcting while I drive it home.
