Roverlanders of BC, Blowdown Pass 2020
A great weekend and the Disco only tossed 2 codes, good old left side O2 sensor (it goes off randomly on my Disco) and an Evap code my gas cap looks to be on it's way out not always clicking.
Temps were outstanding, go below 170 at one point drifting down along down hill in 3rd at 50 Mph, otherwise pretty much 177 to 194 for the most part fuel mileage less so
@acg Had a solid trip with no issues ! Good job Andrew.
The pass itself sits at about 7100 ft.
The day started early I was up and out and on the road a 7:00 am, I had a 2.5 hour hiway drive to Squamish bc to meet up with the club. We started well with 16 trucks and lost one in the 1st 15 minute to a family issue he had drop out. As usual lots of variety, Defenders including a new one, 3 Discos, 3 Lr3's, a lightweight and Defender crew cab.
Fueling up in Pemberton BC, about an hour from Squamish
We had to climb a long pass just past Pemberton, I followed an old LR that had to take the pass in low range, 2 adults, dog and little one they were well loaded up.
Rest break at the top of the pass
Don at Rovaloution's nice new Defender in orange wrap.
From there we started the climb to Blowdown it was very dense and some what overgrown on the way up

The end of the video shows the rolled Pathfinder with alot of beer cans around it. Perhaps this is another reason for the rollover.
