He's currently stuck in the garage for the past 2 months because I was sent a bad engine by roverlandparts.com, and had no idea it was bad until after installation.

This is us removing the bad engine. Hopefully he'll be on the road again soon.

So when is that write-up you're doing for that projector retrofit going to be complete?

in progress right now I just have no photos in it. I was thinking of upgrading my projectors and I can snap photos then.

Never thought of a write up. On the plus side the projectors I used although not the best are pretty decent and VERY easy to install. They're basically direct for h7 headlights.
I didn't get the 6.0 version from the retrofit source. I did buy some 4.1 ages ago and found them in my closet. Added 5.0 foreground limiters and installed. I could do a write up eventually but I probably won't have any pics for you. It's fairly simple to do takes maybe 2hrs tops if you haven't done a retrofit before.

Here's a TRS guide to installation of mini h1.
http://www.theretrofitsource.com/diy...ih1-guide.html

TRS doing h4 civic for the land rover lights it's the same thing except you use the h7 gear obviously

All the stuff in the videos can be purchase at theretrofitsource.com I am in no way affiliated with the retrofit source just a loyal customer lol

Side note if someone has an extra set of 03-04 headlights that want projectors I can do a retro with the other set of projectors that I have for free all you have to do is send me the lights then I could do a comprehensive write up. I have projectors bulbs and ballasts(cheap ones unfortunately) extra

Just got it on 6th March, a few pictures before the mods begin, thinking of giving it a camo paint job like my old K5.

Picked up my '99 D1 SD about a month ago, did the bedliner coating on the lower panels and raised part of the hood. Need to fix the trans, and I'm probably going to go with installing a lower mileage used trans. Needs the headliner replaced, then after that, I'm looking at a 2" lift with shocks, 245/75 or 265/75 AT tires, new speakers, then maybe some other stuff (roof rack, front bumper guard, driving lights, etc)...
