I know I have seen where some guys take and cut that all the way to the bottom of the rubber molding but then my gas filler would be hanging out unprotected

Well on the way back from rotr today felt like I had no rear shocks then clunking noises like the spring was not seated since they can disconnect on my setup

I like in the pass rear wheel well at the spring and find this

So seems the piston rod unscrewed from the eye? Either way I blame Justin , just kidding lol we had a great time

I removed the eye and screwed it back on the rod, seems OK for now

I have seen shocks break there never unscrew, they are shot now anyway rear just bounces around so need to be replaced big time

Boy scout camping on Chesapeake, got a little stuck on beach had to winch myself out
