To hard to add text...so...
She's a 1990 110, diesel, manual trans (of course) and a little rough around the edges. It's got great bones though, solid frame and outriggers and just what I was looking for. Didn't want a rover that I was afraid to scratch or dent. Some rust issues in the usual spots, just edges of floor pans, but nothing serious or alarming. Going to daily/camp and overland out of it for a few years the way she is (after a mild build) and just enjoy it for what it is...a beast! Surprisingly, it rides pretty darn nice. The coil spring suspension and shocks are new, trailing arms new and a few other odds and ends.
I'm sure I will have some questions along the way.
Brian.

Awesomeness update...
Was coming home from town yesterday and just as l came over the overpass to turn right onto my road, l see a big rig parked crossways across the end of my road. He's blocking entire road with truck and trailer. Pull up behind him and wait, assuming he is making a u-turn after missing the on ramp...but his 4-ways go on after he sees me waiting. I'm like?...hmmm, he must have broke down. So, he's blocking the entire road and it would be a five mile ride to get around him and home...so...l look down the overpass enbankment, check my mirrors...and away we go. Drove down the embankment and crawled through the ditch like a true champ!
Land Rover for the win again!
ArmyRover, yes...l considered buying a gas swap...but after hearing the diesel...nope...it's so "camel trophy" sounding it just makes you smile from ear to ear.

News alert...
After removing center section of steering wheel to repair horn...breaking news...it's not there...it's on the headlight stalk/lever...lol.
And, how long do you think it took me to find the heater fan motor control, stuck on the left side of the dash pod..well, let's put it this way....countries have been formed in shorter amounts of time...lol. Then l thought...l'll just stick my magnet flashlight to the roof while l look for the heater switch yesterday morning...in the dark...wrong...darn aluminum anyway. Granted, is a dome light to much to ask for...? But then again..trying to figure out the controls at 4am in complete darkness probably isn't the best time to review them.
