Default no rear drive - transfer box - Defender

Hi everyone!
We just order parts for our gearbox and changed a few bearings. After fixing this problem we found out that the speedometer is not working correctly and finally it did not work at all.
So far it seems that our first problem had nothing to do with the new problem. Which is the transferbox finally.
The rear wheels are not working. If the differencial lock is turned on they are working though.
Does anybody have a clue what is going wrong here?
Do we need to open the transferbox as well....tomorrow?

Hope that somebody might have a suggestion....

Jazz

Additional information:
- Defender 110 Tdi, 1997
- we had the feeling that we lost power lately, might be because the rear drive was not working permanently?

So, is your front drive shaft not turning, or is it turning but not moving the truck?

Thanks for your help.

Had not been a problem at all.

When drive shaft is attached, speedometer works fine, wheels as well.
