Hi all,

trying to check the timing on my fuelpump of a 200 TDI defender engine.

Inwas in the impression that the u hole should be somewhere in the top left. I see with me this is on the bottom right.
I checked and the timing tool does freely fit in but is this normal?

from what I understand the rec point should be aligned with theirs on the timingbelt cover.
and I see the slot at the flywheel.

this situations has got me a bit worried to be honest.
