Unhappy spilled water on rear leather seats

HI can anyone help me. I had a water cooler in a box on top of a sheet and some of the water spilled thru the sheets onto the perforated leather seats. Will they dry eventually? I soaked up as much water as i could by pressing with paper towels and hand towel Its still wet in the middle but i press down on both seats and no water comes out the perforated seat area anymore so hopefully its out but its still wet! Will the heated seats still work? and how can i dry the inside of the seats? or do i have to naturally let it evaporate? Thank you so much.

The water will dry on it's own accord. I had that happen to me on a rear seat. The water will work it's way out.

I wouldn't try using the heated seats for awhile though.

I own a large high end detailing spa, and there are 3 ways you can deal with this spill.

1) The best way is to use this cleaner Leather Cleaner and follow up with the Rejuvination oil here: Leather Rejuvinator Oil

2) The second way if your not as concerned with perfection is to let it dry and use a use a lesser brand of leather conditioner called Lexol, found at most auto parts stores.

3) third option is do nothing, the leather may or may nor become brittle.

I hope this helps

Main thing is don't use the seat heater for a good week or more.
If you want to treat your seats to a face lift, buy some saddle soap and clean them then use some Lexol to protect them in the future, do this one a year.

Thanks IBUFFEM. I had the unfortunate experience of a friend leaving the sunroof and windows open on my Bimmer overnight, only to wake up finding out that his sprinkler system had completely soaked my leather interior. Thankfully it was new leather and seemed to repel most of it, and responded to careful drying and off the shelf leather cleaner.

Do you have any recommendations for general leather cleaning/maintenance?

Those same products in my original post work wonders for maintenance of your leather as well. They truely are top notch products and are the way to go!!
