Default [HELP]: Windows

Sunroof
The rear sunroof works fine, press the button and it rocks upward, then it rolls back. The problem though is the front sunroof. When I press the button you can hear the motor running but nothing moves. From previous posts I read about the window track being off or something? What is my first step to solving this problem?

Rear windows
My front windows both work (passenger and driver sides). But my rear windows do not work at all. So where would I start on this? Regulator? Motor? I'm a little lost haha

This is most probably due to the ECU behind the glove bo failing (solder cracking) I would read through this post: https://landroverforums.com/forum/sh...ad.php?t=38896 <-- I would bypass it...

As for the Sunroof - I have to leave that to somebody else.

Okay so buy this:
http://www.roverparts.com/Parts/AMR1282RK.cfm

And follow the instructions provided? Seems pretty self explainatory. So this is most likely 90% of the problem right?

Dude - that'll get 100% of the issues with your rear windows, however, I would not waste the $15 on the parts - it's just wire and a splice.
Radio Shack will sell you a CRAPload of them for $5. I am confident in saying that if you look around you, you will see a length of wire you could use for the bypass...

you can order the kit but all you are paying for is really the directions, a piece of wire , and a couple of connectors. If you want I can fax you the directions and a crude diagram I made when I did mine (no charge) it's an easy fix to bypass ith ecu.

Nah I'm just kidding haha. But I have to see if I even have a fax machine..
What if you took a picture with one of those fancy pants digital cameras and uploaded it? Or maybe you can process a film roll and mail it to me?

Haha sorry, I wasn't being serious
Yes when I actually looked at the part on the site I realized how simple it is. Should I use a 16g or 18g wire? And I also realized the instructions are part of the information on the product, I just had to click on instructions haha
Tell you how it goes I'll try to do it today!

Oh and thanks for the help and all
