I've been in excess of 100+ in the DiscoII once. No where near the 130 mark however.

On the flip side my car that is capable of 170-ish has a speedometer readout of 110mph... fortunately it also has a HUD. lol

Haha my Cobra had a 160 speedo and I hit that mark a couple times. I can't believe anyone has hit the 100 mark in the Disco. You have bigger ***** than I do! haha

I remember only one of my cars that had the 85 mph speedo, but it wouyld go faster than 85, so how good was it to limit the speedo to 85?

Both my 928 and my 420SEL would cruise way faster than you could find a decent placce to do it. These days they put you away for driving that fast.

90 MPH in my Disco 1. Buuuut, that's flat and straight on provincial highways in Saskatchewan. The tachometer sits q little over 3k and it doesn't make feel too comfortable. Usually back it off to 70ish for highway driving.

Default 85 all the time

Mine drives fine at a cool 85 on the interstate all day long, it takes a while to get there but drives perfectly fine once I get there...

I run 80 fairly regularly on the interstate with 2" lift and 265/75. Bout as fast as I care to go in the disco.

The disco 1 was designed to cut off fuel or igniton at approx 105-110 mph
d90 was a little less (iirc).
There's no way your going faster than that unless you drop it out of a plane w/o a chute or drive it off a cliff...

I wouldn't recommend going anywhere near that fast, it sounds like you are driving through a wind tunnel and it's really loud and kinda scary the first time because I thought any slight turn would make Claire spazz.

My favorite is when ignorant people think JUST because the speedo goes to a certain speed the vehicle will actually do that , lol.

Bone stock, I've done a little over one hundred once.
