That depends on your MPG.
You have approx 5 gals left once the low fuel light comes on.
It is a 25 gal tank.

I don't want to find out. Most fuel pumps are cooled by the fuel moving through the pump. Have you priced a pump?

From Rave:
When the fuel remaining in the tank is
approximately 3.75 gallons (14 litres), the
AMBER low fuel warning light in the fuel gauge
illuminates. If the light illuminates, refuel at the
first opportunity.
To be safe, I'd guess 10 MPG, so that about 40 miles.

Oops. Just noticed that I'm in the D1 forum. It's worse:

The AMBER low fuel warning light will indicate
when the remaining fuel is approximately 2.4
US gallons (9 litres). If the light illuminates,
refuel at the first opportunity.
So maybe 25 miles to be safe?
