Default 1st Trip Down. A lot more to follow

Well I officially have the first trip in the land rover under my belt.... My wife, 11 month old and I decided to visit some family via a 730 mile loop through california. From Parker to Romoland to Temecula and back to Romoland, then from there to Longbeach, Hermosa Beach, Palos Verdes, and back to Long Beach, THEN from longbeach to Victorville, and back to Parker. Yes, it was a LONG weekend, but problem free apart from what some eviromentalists would frown upon (i added a few drips of oil to some pretty clean driveways).
Made it 370 miles before fueling up for the first time, so mileage - not as bad as I expected.

Happy with my Rover

I was able to fart around on turkey day in some hills in Romoland, but unfortunalty, most of the drip was paved

I tend to get really good mileage on the freeway as well. Unfortunately I end up driving in city traffic way more than I want. Good to hear it went error free.
And the oil is just your rover marking its spot.

Sounds like a great first road trip, especially since you had no problems, that is almost unheard of with the typical first time outing. Sounds like you got a good one.
