Default 315/75/16s

I have a ’99 Discovery 1 and I just bought some 315/75/16s for it. What type of suspension lift/ spacers will I need to get to fit them in? I don’t want it to ride too high so I’m thinking I might need to remove the front skirt, but I dont want to cut the fenders. Does anyone have a recommended kit and how high will I need to raise it to fit these things in?

Thanks,

-Josh

you will need more than a lift to run 35's... HD drive shafts, you will need to re-gear, brake lines, abs lines, corrected raduis arms, wheel spacers. I run 32's and i have a 2.25" lift on my D2. if you don't want to trim i would say you need easily a 4" lift. do you plan on taking this off road?

Youll need about 10" of lift to clear them if you dont want to cut your fenders, or a 5" Rovertym lift and cut your fenders. Youll also need different offset wheels or spacers, regear, axles, all kinds of fun steering parts, driveshafts, bumpstops, etc...... Thats a huge tire for these trucks. I run 305/70/16s on mine but im about to put 35"s under it. Its no easy task to put tires that big under it

Someone put the cart before the horse.

You might be able to bolt on the tires to a stock D1, but you won't be able to drive it anywhere.

Duh, why would you buy those without knowing what you need to do???????

Take them back and swap them for some 26 inch wheels with lots of bling appeal and a set of hydraulics to make it jump up and down, it'll be about as good.

Add lots of neon and about 100,000 amps of sound with some outrageous speakers too while you're at lt.

See links at bottom of my signature.

Flame on. Haha. In all seriousness I would return them and get something different. I've been discussing what it takes to run a tire like that all day and the answer is THOUSANDS of dollars in extra parts. Even though they're huge and awesome, you can get just as much done on 31"-32" without all the expensive **** that comes along with 35". HOWEVER, if you don't listen and just go ahead with it, please take as much video and photos as possible because it'll fail so epicly I'd hate to miss it.

Yep, spinners, sat/nav with flip up dvd, maybe a rear spoiler to keep the back end down when you're tearing down the trail, in fact, go ahead and mount a DI body on to an H2 frame. You're good to go.
