Default Best tire size for D1 no lift?

I am buying tires this week and have thought about getting just a bit taller tire, not go crazy as I am still a ways off from lifting it. I have the
stock wheels 16" and am planning on getting the MT KM2's.

Either Meadow Creek or Plus 1 as I get a good discount being a Audi tech.

Well I can get a pretty good tire, the Nokian Vatiiva for pretty cheap but the smallest tire they make is a 265/75 16.. is it safe to say I cannot fit this on my vehicle without clearance issues?

Not without some major trimming. Their a tight fit with a 2"-3" lift

I really like these. Pretty cheap at just over 100 a tire, but i do have a 3' lift and spacers.

I have had eldorado street tires as well. They are good. I cannot find the km2's locally for under $217. My guy at meadow creek is researching some other options for me. We will see what he comes up with. I really only need them until spring.
