I am considering finishing the Land Rover engine which I gave up on a couple years ago as the truck is in good shape. The engine is a 4.0 in a 1996 disco.

Saw a kit from the UK that seems to have everything needed except head bolts for some reason...

I believe I will have to hone cylinders, and machine the crank to fit the over-sized bearings but would like to hear anything else I might be missing.

With $200 shipping to Canada it is a fairly good price given it has a new cam and pistons but not sure the quality of the parts...
