Didn't know it had CV joints. Are they behind the hub?

Yes the CVs are behind the hub. There inside the swival ball.

Well I'll be. Just went through the manual to see how bad this might be. doesn't look too bad but I'm sure the parts are 1/2 a million dollars. I'll look on the web for cheaper ones. My regular parts store doesn't carry them. Bummer.

I think Atlantic British has them on sale right now.
There not to hard to replace, I think it took me about 4 hours to do both sides in mine just remember to replace all the seals while your in there and spray everything down with PB blaster a couple days in advance

DAP has a kit, comes with a new cv joint, all the seals and gaskets, and new grease for that side. $149.

Make sure your swivel housings have enough grease in them first... mine had the exact same symptoms and was simply low on grease. Good luck.

I'll check that before I call. It has 116,000 miles on it so I think they may be worn. Lots of city driving. Thanks again.
