Does anyone have a clue where the switch is located that engages the diff light on the dash? I checked the bulb which was good, the diff works fine. The light just doesn't come on. It's not a huge issue, I'd just like to fix it. I can't find any diagrams of the switch or any pictures. I figured it's probably exposed like the linkage and it might just be covered in red mud. lol

 

Pretty much right behind where the CDL linkage shaft comes out of the transfer case. Easiest way to it is pulling the console and the trans shifter box, you can reach right down to work on it then. It may be out of adjustment or an issue with the wires, both easy to check once you have access to it.

 

This should help. It is a plunger switch. Mine was stuck but a little use and it now works as it should.
